Doing Dry January? After December, your liver's probably sent you a thank-you card already.
The tricky bit is that January is long, dark and skint, and the sofa is very comfy. So keep the ritual and lose the hangover: alcohol-free beer that tastes like beer, grown-up wine for a quiet night in, and spirits that make a proper G&T.
Mix any 6 drinks and save 5%, rising to 15% for 24. Wine and spirits get even more: 6 bottles 10% off, 12 get 15%. Delivered across the UK, free over £85 to the mainland. 31 days. Decent drinks. Clear heads.

What is Dry January?
Dry January is 31 days off alcohol, starting on New Year's Day. The official challenge is run by the charity Alcohol Change UK, and they've got free tools to help you through it.
It's the most popular month off of the year. After a December of mince pies, mulled wine and “just one more”, most of us are ready for a reset.
Is it worth it?
Yes. A study at the Royal Free Hospital in London, published in BMJ Open in 2018, found that moderate to heavy drinkers who stopped for a month saw improvements in insulin resistance, blood pressure and weight, compared with people who kept drinking.
And here's a nice bit from Alcohol Change UK's research: even people who don't manage the full month still report benefits, like feeling more in control of their drinking. So don't panic if you wobble.
Beating the January blues
Let's be honest. January isn't easy. It's dark at half four, it's cold, and payday feels a long way off.
So plan your evenings. A film night, a proper home-cooked tea, a long walk on a crisp Sunday. And keep something good in the fridge, so Friday night still feels like Friday night.
What to drink instead
Hoppy beer fans, start with Cloudwater Fresh AF or Northern Monk Faith, brewed just down the road in Leeds and only 26 calories a can.
Missing your red? Noughty's organic red is low in sugar and lovely with a stew. Want a proper drink? Pearsons London Botanic makes a classic G&T.
Not sure where to start? Our bestsellers are the easiest way in.
Make it cheaper
January is skint month, so here's how to save. Mix any 6 drinks and get 5% off, 12 for 10%, 24 for 15%. Wine and spirits get even more: 6 bottles 10% off, 12 for 15%.
Or build a beer box, a wine box or a spirits box and watch the saving as you go.
And in February?
That's up to you. Some people keep going. Lots keep a few drink-free nights a week. Some zebra stripe their nights out.
No rules, no judgement. Balance, not perfection.
