Yes. Pierre Zéro Chardonnay is a still French Chardonnay at 0.0%, fruity and floral, with 18 calories per 100ml. The Miris Blend Édition Premier Blanc has Chardonnay in its blend too, alongside Riesling, Muscat and Pinot Blanc. If you want your Chardonnay sparkling, Pierre Zéro and Noughty both make a 0.0% fizz from it.
Fridge cold, so a couple of hours in there before you pour. Cold keeps a white crisp and fresh, and that matters more when there's no alcohol carrying the flavour. For an aromatic one like the Miris Blend Édition Premier Blanc, I'd take it out ten minutes before pouring so the elderflower and citrus can show off. Fizz is different: Noughty says serve it really cold, and they'd know.
For still white, it's Pierre Zéro Chardonnay. For bubbles, Pierre Zéro Sparkling Chardonnay, Noughty Sparkling and Wild Idol are all 0.0%, which means no alcohol at all. Others sit a little higher, like the Miris Blend Édition Premier Blanc at 0.2%. In the UK, anything at 0.5% or under counts as alcohol free, and we show the exact ABV on every drink. For 0.0% only, head to the zero range.
It varies, so check the sugar figure where the maker gives one. The Miris Blend Édition Premier Blanc is off-dry, at 4.1g of sugar per 100ml, with lively acidity to balance it. Wild Life Botanicals Nude is a dry sparkling white at 2g per 100ml. ZENO's still white is all zingy citrus and passionfruit, though there's no sugar figure on that one. If you like a bone-dry glass, look for the word dry on the label.
For fish and chips, the Miris Blend Édition Premier Blanc. It has a salty sea-breeze note and lemon, and it feels like it was made for Whitby. For salmon or a creamy fish pie, Pierre Zéro Chardonnay is soft and fruity. For Thai prawns or anything with chilli and lime, ZENO's tropical mango and passionfruit does the job nicely.
The same grapes as normal white wine, just with the alcohol taken out after. Here you'll find Chardonnay from Pierre Zéro, Viura in ZENO's still white, and a German blend of Riesling, Muscat, Chardonnay and Pinot Blanc from Miris Blend. On the sparkling side there's Macabeo, Cabernet Blanc, and a mix of Rivaner, Scheurebe, Silvaner and Riesling. Plenty to work through.
